Who we are

JVA Solutions (003837171-W) supplies, installs and monitors CCTV in Johor, Malaysia. This notice explains how we handle personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

What we collect

This website has no forms and uses no advertising or tracking cookies. When you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your name, phone number and what you send us, and use it to reply and prepare a quote. WhatsApp's own privacy policy also applies to those messages.

When you rent or buy cameras from us, we keep your name, company, phone number, email, site address and location, and the details of the people you give access to the customer portal.

The customer portal and staff console use a sign-in cookie to keep you signed in. They use no other cookies.

CCTV footage

Footage is recorded on the camera's memory card, which overwrites the oldest recordings when it is full. Live view and playback are delivered through our video service provider. Footage, customer records and the monitoring dashboard are processed on cloud servers in Singapore.

Only the people you invite can watch your cameras, and only while your rental or subscription is active. We keep a record of who watched or played back which camera and when. JVA staff view your cameras only to install, maintain and support them.

How we use your data

We use your data to provide our service, set up portal access, send reminders before your access ends, carry out maintenance and keep our accounts. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.

How long we keep it

Portal access ends when your rental or subscription ends. We keep customer and billing records for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax, and delete what we no longer need.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to stop using it where the law allows.
